Fall Clean-Up Scheduled for October 3-7 with Electronic & Hazardous Waste Drop off on October 8th

Residential fall clean-up will be taking place the week of October 3rd through the 7th. Residents will need their items out to be picked up on the same day as refuse pickup. Glass and construction debris will not be accepted for berm pickup.

Hazardous waste and electronic drop off is scheduled for Saturday, October 8th from 9am to 3pm at Public Works located at 1001 2nd St NE.  Please contact Public Works with questions at (218) 773-1313.

The East Grand Forks Fire Department is teaming up with the National Fire Protection Association to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week, October 9-15, 2022.

Absentee Voting for the General Election is available at Administration Office in City Hall

Absentee voting for the General Election is available in the Administration Office located on the second floor in the West Wing in City Hall starting Friday, September 23rd for all five city wards.

Absentee voting will be available on the following days:

  • Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm starting September 23rd through November 4th
  • Saturday, November 5th from 10am to 3pm
  • Monday, November 7th from 8am to 5pm

Ward Adjustments and Polling Place Changes for 2022 Elections

Ward boundaries have been adjusted due to the redistricting process that was completed after the 2020 census. The Council has adopted a new ward map and some of the polling locations have changed from the 2020 election cycle.
