The Economic Development Authority is a multi-faceted community development agency for the City of East Grand Forks.  The City has always been very active and involved with projects that assist business and industry which shapes our community. Under the leadership of the Economic Development Authority Board, the Mayor, and City Council, this office continues that mission.

Round 2 of Business Grant Program Opens

The City Council and Economic Development Authority are pleased to announce Round 2 of the grant program to help businesses for expenses and losses related to COVID-19.  An explanation of Round 2 is available here.  The application is linked here.  The application period will close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2020.  There is no cap for Round 2 awards.  Applications will be evaluated based upon the impact of the COVID-19 restrictions upon businesses.  Please contact Paul Gorte at 218/773-8939 or for information about the program.  If you are in doubt, please apply.  No application guarantees no grant.
