The Economic Development Authority is a multi-faceted community development agency for the City of East Grand Forks.  The City has always been very active and involved with projects that assist business and industry which shapes our community. Under the leadership of the Economic Development Authority Board, the Mayor, and City Council, this office continues that mission.

Business Grant Program Announced

The City Council and Economic Development Authority are pleased to announce a grant program to reimburse businesses for expenses related to COVID-19.  The application is linked here.  The application period will close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2020.  The first round of grant will reimburse up to $5000 in eligible expenses.  If funds remain, there will be a second round of grants.  Please contact Paul Gorte at 218/773-8939 or pgorte@egf.mn for information about the program.  If you are in doubt, please apply.  No application guarantees no grant.

County Business Grant Program

East Grand Forks is working with Crookston, Fosston, and Polk County to distribute County CARES Act funds to businesses located within the County but outside the cities. Click here for the application. The application period will close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2020.
